We are The Palms of Manasota, America's first Gay, Lesbian, and Gay-Friendly Retirement Community.
We are located in the Tampa Bay area of sunny Florida. Palmetto, FL is conveniently nestled between St. Petersburg and Sarasota, both of which have thriving gay communities and are only minutes away!
The Palms of Manasota, Phase I, consists of 21 standalone homes governed by their condo association, The Palms of Manasota Condo Association (POMCA). Although it began as a gay and lesbian retirement community, now 15 of the 21 homes are gay-owned.
